Heavy Metal and Toxic Elements
Once collection has been done, the sample is sent off to a lab and results are forwarded back to our clinic for review.
Analysis of the levels of toxic metals in urine after the administration of a metal detoxification agent may be used to help evaluate the accumulation of toxic metals. Acute metal poisoning is rare. More common, however, is a chronic, low-level exposure to toxic metals, which may result in retention in the body and can be associated with adverse health effects.
Toxic metals do not have any useful physiological function. They can adversely affect organ systems in the body and may disrupt the homeostasis of nutrient elements.
The Heavy Metal Test May Be Useful For
- Toxic Element Exposure
- Bone Density
- Dermatitis or Poor Wound Healing
- Detoxification Therapy
- Fatigue
- Gastrointestinal Symptoms
- Immune Function
